Made with 20% New Zealand wool, this rug offers a more natural texture and stronger durability than ordinary polyester fibers or imitation wool materials. The presence of real wool gives the surface a warmer, more authentic character with subtle depth and richness.

Its high-density woven construction creates a tighter, more refined surface, helping light dust and minor dirt stay closer to the top rather than settling deep into the pile. Daily care feels easier, and minor surface stains can often be wiped away gently with a towel.

The backing is woven from natural cotton and linen, offering a smooth feel along with moisture resistance, durability, and a more stable finish. It enhances everyday comfort while helping protect the floor beneath.

The edges are finished with carefully stitched overlock binding, helping reduce fraying and loose threads over time. Compared with ordinary taped edges, this finish feels thicker, cleaner, and more substantial, giving the rug a more polished and elevated appearance.

Please note: Wool is a natural short-fiber material, so slight shedding may occur during regular use. This is a normal characteristic of wool-blend rugs. Regular vacuuming will help maintain a clean and comfortable surface over time.

1. Routine Care

• Vacuum your rug approximately once or twice a week. For high-traffic areas such as entryways and living rooms, clean more frequently as needed.
• Do not use vacuum cleaners with rotating brushes or stiff brush heads, as these may pull the rug fibres and damage the fibre structure.
• For edges, gaps and other areas where dust tends to collect, clean gently using a crevice nozzle or a soft brush.

2. Spills and Stains

• If liquids such as tea or coffee are spilled, gently blot the area with a clean, dry towel or paper towel. Do not rub the stain.
• For oily stains, apply a small amount of diluted mild detergent to a soft cloth and gently dab the affected area. Wipe with a damp cloth and allow it to air-dry naturally.
• For stubborn stains, use a commercial carpet cleaner according to the product instructions. Do not use strongly acidic or alkaline cleaning products.
• For pet urine stains, absorb the liquid as quickly as possible while diluting the area with water. If any odour remains, gently wipe the area with diluted white vinegar.

3. Preventing Wear

• We recommend placing protective pads beneath the legs of heavy furniture.
• Avoid dragging furniture across the rug.
• Take care to prevent damage from high heels, sharp objects and pets' claws.
• Rotate the rug by 180° every two to three months to help distribute foot traffic and wear more evenly.

4. Preventing Fading and Deterioration

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as this may cause fading or deterioration of the material.
• Maintain a moderate indoor humidity level and avoid placing the rug in excessively damp environments.
• When using underfloor heating, we recommend keeping the surface temperature below 40°C.

5. Periodic Maintenance

• We recommend deep cleaning approximately once every 6–12 months.
• Professional rug cleaning is recommended for premium rugs.

6. Care by Material

Polypropylene (PP)

• Water-resistant and easy to maintain.
• Clean with mild detergent or a carpet cleaner.
• Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.

Wool

• Initial shedding is normal and is not considered a defect.
• Use a suction-only vacuum without a brush attachment.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.

Jute & Sisal

• Minor fibre shedding during initial use is normal.
• Do not wash with water.
• Vacuum gently using low suction without a brush attachment.

Important Notes

• Colours may appear different depending on lighting and pile direction.
• Minor shedding from natural fibres is a normal characteristic.
• Always test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first.
